Padbury Pre-school

Padbury Pre-school is independently run from a newly renovated facility within Padbury School. Our aim is focus on the whole child by providing quality education and care to children aged two to five years old. We provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment in which children and families feel welcome and comfortable to learn. We aim to cater for each child's needs as they develop and grow by following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and planning activities that are broad, balanced and centred around children's play.

Being run from the village school provides an opportunity for your child to experience the first seven years of their education in one idyllic setting. Together with the school, we provide an environment in which important, confidence building relationships are made and can flourish into early school years and beyond. Combined, our strength lies in our ability and desire to plan together across the Early Years Foundation Stage. Both the school and pre-school share celebrations such as Harvest Festival, Eid, Christmas, Divali and Easter in addition to several themed assemblies and sports / play events.

Padbury Pre-school currently employs seven members of experienced staff who specialise in Early Years Education.

We currently run five morning three hour sessions and an hour long lunch club each week during term time. We are also proud to offer hot, nutritionally balanced meals catered for by the New Inn, Padbury, at a minimal charge (in conjunction with school meal provision). In addition, we offer three afternoon sessions for children aged three and above.

At Padbury Pre-school, we feel that we can offer you something special. With an 8.50am start, these longer sessions will allow you, parents and carers, to work away from home during the morning whilst your child is cared for in a safe learning environment. Morning sessions of between three and four hours will provide your child the ideal (most receptive) time in which to learn and play whilst our afternoon sessions enable us to focus on the learning requirements of the older children.
